This policy explains what channeli.us collects, why, and what happens to it. The website is operated by Impress Telefilm Inc. (“Channel i USA”, “we”), a New York corporation. It does not cover Channel i Bangladesh, Channel i Online or iScreen, which are operated separately from Dhaka by Impress Telefilm Ltd.
What we collect
Information you send us. When you submit the advertising or contact form we receive your name, company, work email, telephone number if you give one, the service and timing you select, any budget range you select, and your message. A copy is emailed to our office and a copy is stored in this website’s database.
Technical information. Our host and our content delivery network record standard server logs (IP address, browser user agent, the page requested, and the time) to deliver the site, block abuse and diagnose faults.
Cookies. This website does not set advertising or tracking cookies. Our content delivery network may set a small number of strictly necessary cookies for security and performance. If you play an embedded video, YouTube may set its own cookies at that point; see below.
Why we use it
Form details are used to answer your enquiry, send the current media kit, and administer any advertising or partnership agreement that follows. Technical information is used to keep the site available and secure. We do not sell personal information, and we do not use it for automated decision-making.
Video embeds
Videos on this site are hosted on YouTube. We use a click-to-load player, so no request is made to YouTube and no YouTube cookie is set until you press play. Once you do, YouTube’s own privacy policy applies to that playback.
Who else handles it
We use service providers to run the website: a managed WordPress host, a content delivery and security network, and an email delivery service. They process data on our instructions in order to provide those services. We disclose personal information otherwise only where we are legally required to.
How long we keep it
Enquiry records are kept for as long as needed to answer the enquiry and to keep a record of any resulting agreement, and are deleted when they are no longer needed for either purpose. Server logs are kept for a short operational period.
Your choices
You may ask us for a copy of the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Residents of California and of other states with comparable laws have specific rights, including the right not to be discriminated against for exercising them. To make a request, email contact@channeli.us and tell us what you are asking for. We will ask you to confirm your identity before we act.
Children
This is a business website and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16.
Changes
If this policy changes, the revised version will be posted here with a new effective date.
