Channel i has broadcast by satellite since 1 October 1999, when it went on air as the first satellite television channel in Bangladesh. The schedule carries news, drama, entertainment, and educational and development programming, twenty-four hours a day.
This is the Dhaka broadcast, operated by Impress Telefilm Ltd. It is the same signal viewers see in Bangladesh, which is what makes it worth watching from the United States: the diaspora audience here is watching the home schedule, not a localised version of it.
Commercials and on-screen popups run inside the programme and news breaks of this schedule, and every package carries the same campaign across iScreen, YouTube and Facebook.
